A few months after publishing new Journal Article Reporting Standards (JARS) guidelines, APA recently launched a new APA Style JARS website. This site includes pages dedicated to the Journal Article Reporting Standards for Quantitative Research (JARS–Quant), the Journal Article Reporting Standards for Qualitative Research (JARS–Qual), and the Journal Article Reporting Standards for Mixed Methods Research (JARS–Mixed).
Additionally, Harris Cooper has updated and expanded his 2010 JARS guidebook to focus on the new JARS–Quant guidelines. Reporting Quantitative Research in Psychology, Second Edition will be released in July, 2018 and is now available for preorder. Heidi Levitt has also written a new guidebook about how to use the JARS–Qual guidelines, Reporting Qualitative Research in Psychology, that also includes guidance on reporting mixed methods research. Her book is currently in-press and will be released in December, 2018.
